This Privacy Policy explains how Sensus InVista (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses personal data when you visit https://sensusinvista.ltd (the “Site”).
We are based in the United Kingdom. For UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, the data controller for this Site is Sensus InVista. You can contact us at [email protected].
Related brands and sites such as OpusAI (https://opusai.uk) and Sensus Labs (https://labs.sensusinvista.ltd) are separate websites and may have their own privacy notices. This policy covers sensusinvista.ltd only, unless we say otherwise.
What this policy covers
It covers personal data we collect through the Site, including contact and subscription forms, standard website and security logs, cookies and similar technologies, and (where used) embedded media or admin tools that process visitor or user data.
Personal data we collect
1. Information you send us
We use Fluent Forms on the Site. Depending on which form you use, we may collect:
- Contact form: first name, middle name (optional), last name, email address, and your message.
- Subscription form: email address.
- Other contact-style forms: name, email, subject, and message where those fields are shown.
The Site also publishes the contact address [email protected]. If you email us, we process the content of your email and any personal data you include.
2. Technical and security data
When you visit the Site, our hosting environment and security tooling typically process:
- IP address
- browser type and device/user-agent information
- date and time of requests, referring URL, and pages requested
- basic diagnostic or error logs
The Site is served through Cloudflare, which may process connection data (including IP address) to deliver content, mitigate abuse, and improve performance.
We also run Loginizer to protect WordPress logins. That can involve logging failed or suspicious login attempts (for example IP address and username tried). This is for security, not marketing.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site may set or use:
- Essential cookies needed for WordPress to work (for example session cookies if you log in, or cookies that keep a form or consent choice working).
- Security / CDN cookies that Cloudflare or the server may set to protect the Site.
- Form-related storage used by Fluent Forms to operate forms reliably.
At the time this policy was prepared, we did not observe a live Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager measurement ID on the homepage. If we later enable analytics (for example GA4 or a WordPress analytics plugin), we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent before non-essential cookies are used.
4. Media, AI tooling, and admin systems (limited use)
The Site’s WordPress install includes plugins that can process data if those features are turned on or used:
- Presto Player (video): may record technical playback events if videos are embedded and analytics features are enabled.
- AI Engine and related AI provider plugins: if an on-site AI chat or similar feature is enabled, prompts and related conversation content you submit may be processed to generate a response, and may be sent to third-party AI providers (for example OpenAI or Google) under their terms.
- GoSMTP: used to send Site emails (for example form notifications). Message metadata and content are processed to deliver email.
- Backuply: creates backups of Site data, which can include form entries and other content stored in WordPress.
- SiteSEO: SEO settings and metadata; it does not normally collect visitor contact details by itself.
Staff access tools (for example WP File Manager, theme builders, and onboarding assistants) are for site administration. They are not meant to collect marketing data from visitors.
5. Comments and accounts
If comment forms are enabled and you leave a comment, we collect the data shown in the comment form plus your IP address and browser user agent used to detect spam. An anonymised hash of your email may be shared with Gravatar to check whether you use that service.
WordPress user accounts on this Site are for authorised administrators and collaborators. Account profiles store names, email addresses, and login-related data needed to run the Site.
How we use personal data
- To respond to enquiries and manage subscriptions or other requests you make
- To operate, secure, and maintain the Site (including abuse prevention and backups)
- To send operational emails related to your request (via our mail configuration)
- To improve content and Site performance using aggregated or technical data
- To comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect our rights and users
Legal bases (UK GDPR)
Depending on the activity, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — running and securing a business website, answering enquiries we have invited, and keeping basic logs
- Consent — where required for non-essential cookies, marketing emails, or optional AI features (you can withdraw consent at any time)
- Contract / steps prior to contract — if your message relates to a requested service
- Legal obligation — where we must keep or disclose data to meet a legal requirement
Who we share data with
We use service providers that process data on our behalf or as independent controllers, including:
- website hosting providers
- Cloudflare (CDN, security, DNS/performance)
- email delivery infrastructure used by GoSMTP
- form and WordPress plugin vendors that process data as part of providing their software
- AI model providers, only if you use an AI feature that sends prompts to them
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
International transfers
Some providers (for example CDN, email, or AI vendors) may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we take steps appropriate to UK GDPR, such as choosing providers that offer suitable transfer mechanisms (for example UK addenda / standard contractual clauses) where required.
How long we keep data
- Contact and form submissions: kept as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable follow-up period, then deleted or anonymised unless we must keep them longer (for example a live project, dispute, or legal duty).
- Subscription emails: until you unsubscribe or we close the list.
- Security and server logs: typically for a short operational period unless needed to investigate an incident.
- Backups: retained according to our backup rotation, then overwritten.
- Comments / accounts: for as long as the content or account remains on the Site.
Your rights
Under UK law you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, and the right to data portability where applicable. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise your rights, email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): https://ico.org.uk.
Children
The Site is aimed at a general professional audience and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Third-party links
The Site may link to other websites (including OpusAI and Sensus Labs). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Check their policies when you leave our Site.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when our Site, plugins, or practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Significant changes may also be highlighted on the Site.
